All these names appear in advertizing, announcements, in technical specifications on projects. We have decided to use the term CONCRETE CLONAL FLOORS as "estrich" in translation from German designates a clone, and structure of a material more similar to concrete, instead of to a mix.

In simple terms, it is a smooth surface on which it is possible to put any decorative covering. At present, the better and economic decision for achievement of an equal basis, than concrete clonal floors, isn't found yet. This technology can be used on any objects, both in new buildings, and at reconstruction.

Underflor heated

Underfloor heating or warm flooring was not invented today. A similar system was used in ancient Rome. Of course, it was quite simple - warm air rose from the central hearth of the building, which was located in the basement of the building, through specially created canals, heating the floors above. This means that even before our era, floor heating systems were a commonplace thing.

Today, there are two types of underfloor heating - a piping system that uses hot water as a heat carrier, and an electric cable that uses electricity as a heat carrier. The warm water flows in the pipes (in the case of electric heating, the heat flows through the cable), the concrete is heated, the heat is distributed in it, which is evenly distributed, and the space is evenly heated.

In the case of both water circulation and electric heating, the floor constructions are very similar. The main difference is that the piping system is built into the concrete, but the electric cable - directly under the decorative floor covering (tiles, linoleum, etc.).

Warm floors have more advantages than radiators or stoves. We all know that under the laws of physics, warm air rises, causing the room to warm up from the top down, while the cold air stays right here at our feet, which is why it is often worn in wool socks. Therefore, the floor temperature will always be lower than 1-2 meters or even higher. This always makes us throw an extra piece of wood in the oven or turn the radiator a little warmer.

In the case of a warm floor, this does not happen. The air in the room heats up from the bottom up, starting with the part of the room we are in, so less energy is needed to heat the room. Warm floors are especially useful in rooms with high ceilings.
